Complying with the safety and accessibility requirements during the use of a building not only involves applying the current regulations but also demonstrates a responsibility towards all users. It is important to consider the physical abilities and capabilities that may differ from one user to another. Moreover, this requirement aims to protect the user from various injuries that may result from negligence or inattention but are facilitated by certain characteristics of the built space. Improper design and faulty detailing of certain structural subassemblies can also be causes of accidents. In this workshop, we aim to apply this requirement to various construction elements, understanding the logic of solutions and the possible impact in relation to the essential requirement.
