Through this series of workshops, we aim to highlight the importance of a common technical vocabulary, both in speech and in drawing. Whether we want to communicate with other specialists, with the construction site, or with specialized companies in the building construction field (manufacturers or sellers of construction materials, systems, etc.), it is essential to have the same vocabulary. But more importantly, we must master it in its correct version. By using correct terms and representation standards, we can achieve the uniformity and precision required by the technical approach, thus avoiding frustrating situations like using the term “termopan” for the entire window system with thermal insulating glass or representing waterproofing with a dotted line despite its isolating role.
The workshops will primarily focus on exercises and examples, emphasizing the acquisition of knowledge through their application. Participants will be guided in dialogues and in creating technical drawings that will address the discussed aspects, going through more or less common situations that are equally important and relevant for the development of a specialist in the field.
This series is intended for anyone who wants to learn new things or deepen their knowledge and technical skills, regardless of whether they have prior training in architecture, structural engineering, installations, or related subfields.
